Union of Kingston Students Volunteering is based in the Student’s Union (SU) and is the official volunteering service for current Kingston University Students and Staff. We run five different volunteering streams.
Sports Volunteering
Are you part of a sports team and passionate about volunteering? Then this may be the one for you. We have a dedicated staff member, on hand to help you design your own project, and get it up and running. Past projects includes River Cleans, coaching days in schools and with young careers, as well as mini tournaments and fun days.
Community Volunteering
Community Volunteering
We help place dozens of students every year in short and long volunteer roles in the local community. Through our Community Bureau there are chances to volunteer at a number of fantastic local and national charities. For more details contact volunteering@kingston.ac.uk
Student-Led Volunteering
Got an issue you feel passionate about? Think you could take on the challenge of running a project? Want something that looks amazing on our CV? We can help you to run your own volunteering project, and can even provide funding to help get your idea off the ground. Email volunteering@kingston.ac.uk to get started.
Schools Volunteering
Want to get experience in a class room? Enjoy volunteering with children? Schools volunteering might be for you: we have contacts with a number of schools in the area and can help find the right one for you! Email volunteering@kingston.ac.uk for more information.
